Hi,

 

I am Bogdan Chelaru. I am an illustrator from Romania and friends also call me Kiandru.

Since I have become aware of  myself I have been hopelessly attracted to visual storytelling. Comic books, movies, short videos, billboards, commercial clips, every kind of media that tells a story through images had always been my Kryptonite.

 

Especially comic books...

 

With that "creative bug" crawling up my veins, I made my decision of being a part of this form of expression.  Therefore since 2009 I put all my time and energy into proffessional illustration.

I have been part of various indie comic book projects while developping a co-owned graphic novel named "HeRBS".

These days I am part of a fantastic advertising team also from Romania. Here I get to have the fun part as my job involves drawing all day long. Commercial illustrations, logos, storyboards, web graphic elements, animation... you name it. Everything that an advertising agency needs from an illustrator.

 

But where the advertising duties end, the freelance jobs start as I am always happy to give life to awesome stories.

 

To put it in another way all my trials and errors, satisfactions and failures are blocked in to this site. So take a moment, discover them and let me know.
